Spreading the love of Korfball in Singapore

Korbfall Clinic How to Play

About Us

Formed in 2014, by friends who chanced upon Korfball on social media.

In a country where citizens pledge to be united and harmonious, it made sense to bring in the sport to Singapore. Since then,  Korfball Singapore has brought people of various communities of different age groups, race and religions together.

We aim to spread the fun of Korfball in Singapore. We hope to use Korfball to bring communities together, regardless of race and gender.

What is Korfball

Originating from Holland, the word "Korf" means "basket" in Dutch.

The world's only mixed-gender sport. From Korfball’s foremost international athletes to children in the playground, this is an activity where both genders play together on entirely even terms.

Korfbal is like a mix of handball, netball and basketball.

Two teams of 8, each team having 4 male and 4 female members, who are in turn divided equally into 2 zones – attacking and defending.  The objective is to throw a ball into a netless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m high pole.

We also conduct Korfball introductory classes/trial sessions for children and adults.

As a mixed-gender sport, this is a perfect sport to promote teamwork.
